faso is a voluntary organisation dedicated to supporting Declaration of good faith:faso is a refuge of the innocent, not a safe house for abusers in denial. All descriptions of the experience of suffering false allegations of abuse or similar are given on this site in good faith, based on numerous personal accounts as well as research sources, which although diverse and independent of each other do appear to support and corroborate the profile of false allegations compiled. faso is not and does not aim to be a court of justice, and does not claim to conclusively judge the large number of accounts received that contribute to descriptions given on this site. We merely stand by the British tradition of "innocent until proven guilty" and we therefore expect proof to be rational, coherent and evidence-based, with any witnesses unmotivated by personal grudge or monetary gain. Whereas it is assumed that anyone applying to be a Member or Friend of faso is innocent of any allegations of abuse, the executive committee reserve the right without notice or explanation to refuse, suspend, or cancel Membership or Friendship and any other offer of support in circumstances where it is considered that faso's reputation may be at risk and its status open to misinterpretation. faso is a voluntary organisation dedicated to supporting anyone affected by a false allegation of abuse We are affiliated members of The Helplines Association (THA) Thanks to all those who completed the survey.
